Spring Break 2010

Luke's mom came out to visit during his spring break. This is the third spring break that she has come to visit, so it's kind of become a tradition. We loved having her out here! Austin sure loved the company! He was such a hoot the whole time she was here. He was constantly showing off for Grandma and had to have her constant attention. She taught Austin how to play patty cake and how to moo like a cow. It's our favorite animal sound yet! We had such a fun week with her and as always it went by way too fast.

Twyla let Austin open up one of his birthday presents while she was here since she wont be here for his birthday. Barkley had to get in on the action and show Austin how it's done!

Grandma Twyla gave Austin a toy that plays the song, "Old MacDonald." It happens to be one of Austin's favorite songs. When he was younger, if he ever started crying in the car we would start singing Old MacDonald and he would instantly stop. Now when we say, "Old MacDonald had a farm..." Austin sings, "E-I-E-I-O."

On Tuesday we went to the San Francisco Zoo. It is a beautiful zoo! The weather was perfect for walking around & enjoying the animals.

We went miniature golfing at Scandia Fun Center. We had a blast! Austin was really good and just hung out in his stroller most of the time. Twyla is awesome at mini golf! We've golfed with her quite a few times and she smokes us every time!

Luke gave Austin his second hair cut. When Austin was almost 4 months old he completely shaved his head using a small attachment. This time he just trimmed it up with a bigger attachment. It looks much better but he looks so grown up now! :(

We went to Luke's basketball game on Saturday. It's an intramural league for McGeorge students.
