Happy Easter!

Celebrating Easter this year was so much fun! Our good friend Stella came over on Saturday to celebrate with us. We colored Easter eggs and had fun playing games. Stella spoiled the boys with Easter baskets and then spoiled us by grilling a yummy dinner. She is such a great friend and absolutely adores our boys. We are so lucky to have her as a friend!

Every time Stella comes to visit she brings a treat for Barkley. She leaves it on the welcome mat and then rings the doorbell. Barkley goes crazy and as soon as we open the door he scarfs his treat and then runs to find Stella. When she came over on Saturday we opened the door and Barkley found his Easter basket from Stella.

As much fun as we had celebrating Easter by coloring eggs, having a special dinner, & enjoying time with friends, we haven't forgotten the true meaning of Easter. We celebrate to remember the Atonement and the Resurrection of Christ. I am so grateful for our Savior and for his sacrifice. I am grateful for the Atonement that gives us the opportunity & the ability to be forgiven of our sins and to have the opportunity to be able to return to live with our Heavenly Father.
