Easter 2013

We had a great time celebrating Easter this year. We started off by coloring Easter eggs, which is my personal favorite!

Stella came over to color eggs with us.

Then on Saturday morning, we took the boys to an Easter egg hunt at a local park.

Teague liked putting the eggs in his basket.

Teague learned very quickly that the plastic eggs had candy inside. He had no problem opening them all by himself.

After the egg hunt, we headed up the mountain with the Morris family. This was my favorite part of the weekend because it reminded me of how we used to celebrate Easter weekend growing up. We were always out on the desert. We roasted hot dogs and shot a couple of Tim's guns that he brought along.

Aust had fun and was excited to roast a hot dog on in the fire.

I just love this little Tike!

On Easter morning, the boys were so worn out from the day before that we had to wake them up so we could make it to church on time! Austin sang with the Primary for the first time. They sang the song, "Gethsemane." There is just something about listening to innocent kiddos, especially your own, sing about how much Jesus loves them. I cried like a baby the whole time he was singing!

Teague was excited to see eggs in his basket. He stuffed his face full of chocolate for breakfast.

We had Stella and the missionaries over for Easter dinner. Of course Stella spoiled the boys more than the Easter Bunny did!

The Easter Bunny left some eggs in the backyard for the boys to find.
