Thanksgiving Surprise!

For as long as Luke can remember, his parents have hosted Thanksgiving dinner at their home in Salt Lake. Luke usually has a four day weekend during Thanksgiving, so it is a perfect time to get back to Utah. But with both of our families living in Utah, it is too rushed of a trip to drive there and back, and split time between two families in four days. We planned on staying here in Sacramento this year. I bought everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner for our little family. On the Tuesday night before Thanksgiving, Luke and I tossed around the idea of driving back home. Before we went to bed we decided to just stay since we were driving back home a couple weeks later for Christmas. Wednesday morning Luke woke up early and said that he couldn't stop thinking about his parents, and because the weather was good, we decided to drive out and surprise them. We hadn't even packed yet! We were on the road in a couple of hours and headed to Salt Lake. We got to his parents house about 10:00 pm and surprised them when we rang the doorbell. It was so fun! It really is so great to spend the holidays with family. There is just nothing like it.

Because we didn't make it down to Price to see my side of the fam, both of my sisters came up to see us. They're so awesome! Here is DeDe and her family. Shannon came up as well, I just didn't get a picture.

For an early Christmas present Danny and Twyla took Austin to Build a Bear. He built his very bear and named him Teddy. Danny was keeping Teague busy by strolling him around. He picked out a little stuffed monkey and kept holding it up calling him Baby. It was so cute!
